Hi There. I am not really sure how I found your blog, but I came across it and will continue to keep your little unborn baby "David" in my prayers. After reading about your story...it instantly touched my heart. We too had a little girl in our family that was born with a heart defect. Lauren was my husbands cousins little girl and she was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome which basically means that she was born with half a heart. Unfortunately, Lauren had her last open heart surgery, got an infection, had a stroke and that is when she gained her angel wings. Anyway, you can read more about her story and her foundation that was created in memory of her by her family at http://www.laurenfaithmiller.org

Best of luck to you and your sweet boy. I believe in the power of prayer so hopefully all of our prayers will help.

In God's Love,
Lisa

You can list our son's journey with Double Inlet Left Ventricle (single ventricle) on your site! His name is Luke and he's had 2 of his 3 open-heart surgeries in Seattle.

Luke, too, was diagnosed in utero, so will be praying for your family as you wait for this precious little boy to be born. Luke is almost two now and my husband and I can honestly say we wouldn't trade a day of our experience with him. God uses these kiddo's mightily!

Take care,
Jesse (Luke's mama)

Just wanted to say hello and welcome to the blogging world! When I discovered it, my daughter was already months old. I never realized how helpful and therapeutic my new family would be. I'm sorry that its not neccessarily a "happy" reason we seek out heart families, but I can tell you, you are in the right place. Please do email me, I think my daughter would love to send yours some mail. You'll be in our prayers and I hope you enjoy your holidays.
